If you want a different vacation from your friends, we recommend you visit Singapore. This destination is full of amazing places you have probably never seen before. Some of the most famous destinations in the country are:

    1. Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the Bay is one of the most scenic gardens in the world. Located between the sea and the back of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, these vast and modern gardens differ from the rest because of the areas where the Supertree Grove is concentrated.

Entrance to the park is free, although a walk along the Skywalk OCBC, a walkway located more than 20 meters above sea level, costs 5 euros per person. On the other hand, although it may seem unnecessary, we recommend visiting the central area of the gardens at different times of the day, as it changes with the light of the day.

The gardens also have two magnificent greenhouses with entrance fees: the Flower Dome and the Cloud.

    2. Little India

Little India is one of the most charming neighborhoods in the country. In this area, you can stroll among colorful buildings, visit Hindu and Buddhist temples, get lost in shopping malls full of stores, and taste the most delicious Indian cuisine.

Among the most beautiful Hindu temples in the neighborhood are Sri Veeramakaliamman and Sri Srinivasa Perumal, located on Serangoon Road, the most famous street. You can also go to one of the symbols of Little India, the malls. Among them is Mustafa Centre, a shopping center full of typical Indian and other local products.

    3. Marina Bay Sands

Marina Bay Sands is the most famous building complex in Singapore. It includes a hotel, the Museum of Art and Science, two theaters, several restaurants, a shopping mall, and a huge casino.

You can enjoy the world's longest elevated swimming pool on the rooftop, looking over an invisible edge 200 meters above the ground and taking in the city's most breathtaking views. Note that the only way to access the pool is if you are staying at the hotel.

Therefore, if you want to appreciate the view from the pool, you must book a room.

An alternative is to go up to the spectacular panoramic viewpoint, located on the 57th floor, paying an entrance fee of 15 euros.

    4. Merlion Park

In front of Marina Bay Sands is a bay where some of the country's most emblematic buildings are concentrated. You can also find the Merlion, a 9-meter-high statue, half fish and half lion, representing the city's fishing past and its founder's origins.

However, it is important to note that visitors from the following countries must have a Singapore e-visa: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.

This Singapore e-visa is valid for 60 days from the date of issuance. This e-visa allows multiple entries into Singapore with a stay of up to 15 days per entry.

iVisa recommends that you seek advice to ensure that you do not need any other travel documents. iVisa experts have made life easier for many travelers by providing them with helpful information.
