Instructions:
MAKE CHROME YOUR DEFAULT WEB BROWSER? No.
Install Jupyter Notebook
Click on spotlight, type terminal to open a terminal window.
Enter the startup folder by typing cd /some_folder_name .
Type "jupyter notebook" for CLI to launch the Jupyter Notebook App The notebook interface will appear in a new browser window or tab.
Click in your web browser to navigate to the Jupyter Notebook script/file called "Blackboard_Automate-LatestVersion.ipynb".
Example: /Desktop/OneDrive - Drexel University/Blackboard/Selenium IDE Announcement Delete/Blackboard_Automate-LatestVersion.ipynb
Type in userid and password and URL of Bb Learn course section to delete in provided sections of the code.
Shift + Enter to run a block in Jupyter Notebook.
Start from the top. Wait for a number to appear before running the next block. (Or wait for a new number to appear.)
IF ISSUES:
- Kernel > Interrupt
- Kernel > Restart
- Shift + Enter and wait 10 seconds after starting each block.
Username and password.
Wait 20 seconds.
Must be in iframe or floating panel or X.
IF THIS ERROR: SessionNotCreatedException: Message: session not created: This version of ChromeDriver only supports Chrome version 80 https://chromedriver.chromium.org/downloads
BLACKBOARD COLLABORATE ULTRA DOES NOT ALLOW DELETING.
Creats Tools page at end, but does not delete anything more.
